…Then Posting the Responses!
This prank is less than 48 hours old and it's already managing to cruelly . . . but hilariously . . . FREAK OUT PARENTS all over the country.
There's a comedian named Nathan Fielder who hosts a show on Comedy Central called "Nathan For You". And on Wednesday, he tweeted the idea:
Text your parents, quote, "got 2 grams for $40?" Then text, quote, "sorry, ignore that text."
In other words, you pretend you meant to text a DRUG DEALER, but accidentally texted your parents. So kids started doing it, and posting screenshots of the results. And as you'd expect, their parents' reactions were PERFECT.
One guy's mom wrote him, quote, "2 grams of whaaaaat? You're freaking me out!! Erik, what the hell? You're giving me a heart attack. Seriously! Now you're doing cocaine? Ganja? What??? God help me. And you."
One kid's dad wrote back, in all caps, quote, "WTF. YOU'RE GOING TO REHAB. I'M NOT KIDDING. YOUR MOTHER AND I ARE ON THE WAY TO PICK YOU UP FROM COLLEGE TONIGHT."
This will continue being funny until it induces its first heart attack. At which time it will become less funny . . . but only slightly.
(You can see a bunch of screenshots of the prank here.)
..."I'm Nervous."
We've all had that moment during a job interview where we feel we have "blown it." It's apart of life, right? And come on, who isn't nervous when approaching the front desk to let them know you are here to see "so and so." It could be your dream job, a much NEEDED job, an opening that is rare and numerous people are vying for it...hey, it happens.
But...remember (no matter how nervous you are) an IMPORTANT tip to remember the next time you're interviewing for a job. EVERYONE HATES A COWARD.
A new survey asked hiring managers the WORST things candidates can do during an interview. And the number one answer was . . . saying "I'm nervous."
Top Five Results
1. Saying "I'm nervous."
2. Wearing inappropriate clothes.
3. Not making eye contact.
4. Checking your phone.
5. Fidgeting and bad posture.
The survey also found the BEST thing you can do is be engaged in the interview and ask questions. They also want to see your personality . . . and get the feeling you're being authentic.

If you don't like fashion and hate getting dressed up, here's something that might make the process a tiny bit easier. Check out three fashion rules you can ignore, according to "Good Housekeeping" magazine.
1. You Shouldn't Wear Black with Navy Blue. It's only true when it's a really DARK navy blue. Basically, you just want to make sure it's obvious that you didn't ACCIDENTALLY wear them together . . . as in, a black blazer and dark navy slacks.
2. You Shouldn't Mix Two Different Patterns. For example, some women think it's bad to wear a flora skirt with a polka-dot blouse.
3. If You're Overweight, You Should Hide It with Loose Clothing. The truth is, oversized clothes tend to make you look BIGGER, not smaller. And almost everyone looks best in clothing that actually fits.
