Learning to cook on your own isn’t easy. at least it wasn't for us. Sometimes recipes just assume that you have more knowledge than you actually do, like if you want to cut a recipe in half things you have to really start calling upon your elementary math skills and that's where i go blank! so what do i do? RUN TO THE COMPUTER of course but that starts to get annoying esp. if someone is ON it but its crunch time and i have to get the measurement ASAP! enter the KITCHEN CALCULATOR! Instead of normal math, it does the kind of math to make cooking a little easier. it will even do measurement conversions between US and foreign weights or measures. Then if you need to do regular math it also does THAT! If you need a spare timer, it has one of THOSE built into it too. AND It has a memory function to remember your measurements as well. all of that for 20 bucks on Amazon.

Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga have been named the latest faces of the MAC AIDS Fund. The newest campaign, dubbed “From Our Lips,” will break on Feb. 25. MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick, $14 each, will launch on March 18 with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to the MAC AIDS Fund. Necco goes naked! 11/3/09
The iconic Necco Wafer is going au naturale. The revamped product is now using red beet juice, purple cabbage, cocoa powder, paprika and turmeric to replace the artificial ingredients that had been flavoring and coloring the wafers for years.....But not every wafer made the cut. Of the eight original Necco wafers, lime did not get through the makeover. While the lime flavor could be created with natural ingredients, the color green itself was too hard to duplicate, so it was scrapped. they say if longtime Necco eaters can get past the change in color, they won't be disappointed in the quality of taste.

i have the cutest little thing on my keychain and everyone asks me about it and how they can get one so i am here to tell you! its called a POKEN and they are HUGE in Asia and Europe and it is a cute little character with a giant hand with 4 fingers and when you come in contact with someone who has one too, you HIGH FOUR them! you put your pokens hand next to theirs, your info then tranfers onto their poken and it is an actual flash drive! so all of your info, your facebook page, twitter account, email address, basically your calling card is put onto their poken and all they have to do is load it into their computer! you choose what info you want to put on there and BAM instant connection! HIGH FOUR ME THIS WAY!

sooo i found it! the MUST have gift for the little ones this season so far! it sells out before you can even get your hands on them! they are 15 bucks and they are called ZHU ZHU pets! parents they are the furbys of this generation. they are little rodent hamster looking things and they scoot all over and when you have more than one they communicate but good luck finding them and of course, when you do, it isnt just the zhu zhu you are suckered into buying, its the accessories too!

Mattel has launched a new line of black Barbie dolls with fuller lips, a wider nose and more pronounced cheek bones , a far cry from Christie, Barbie's black friend who debuted in the 1960s and was essentially a white doll painted brown. The "So In Style" line, which hit mass retailers last month, reflect varying skin tones , light brown, chocolate, and caramel. Barbie designer Stacey McBride-Irby, who is black and has a 6-year-old daughter, said she wanted to create a line of dolls for young black girls that looked like them and were inspirational and career-minded. "I want them to see themselves within these dolls, and let them know that black is beautiful," she said.
